Students in JOUR 2060 are given a lot of creative freedom. This can be intimidating, but it also means the options are limitless. Be creative, think about how to hook your audience, and have fun with it!

In this class, you will explore making several different types of media including written, photographic, video, and audio forms. For each type of media, a page has been created to provide information and more resources.

TRU Journalism 2060

This course blends media theory and methods to explore the connection between nonfictional journalistic storytelling and professional media and social media-making practice. Students will have an opportunity to apply new learnings to projects ranging from audio interviews to blogging, writing, vlogging, and photojournalism using industry tools such as WordPress, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Premier.
